A new type of fraud targeting EU enterprises engaged in fastener trade with China has emerged. Please pay close attention to relevant enterprises:

The fraud process is as follows:

(1) The fraudster registered two companies in Hong Kong, China, namely

YOUWEE INTERNATIONAL TRADE CO., LTD（hereinafter the “YOUWEE”）

SUZHOU HONGLY HARDWARE CO., LTD （hereinafter the “HONGLY-HK”）
HONGLY-HK is the same English name as the company, “SUZHOU HONGLY HARDWRAE CO., LTD” which is registered in Chinese Mainland (Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province) (hereinafter the “HONGLY-SZ”), but they are not the same company at all. HONGLY-SZ received 39.6% EU anti-dumping duty on fasteners in February 2022. While HONGLY-HK has nothing.

(2) This fraudsters list the above two companies on their website “http://www.tlfast.cc” to deceive EU customers. In addition, they declare on the invoice that their products are manufacturer by SUZHOU HONGLY HARDWARE CO., LTD (TARIC CODE C841). While the taric code C841 is issued by EU for HONGLY-SZ, not for the HONGLY-HK.

(3) The fraudster opened two offshore accounts in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, Chinese Mainland with the above two companies, as follows:

(4) The fraudster used the company YOUWEE to contact EU customers, and falsely claimed that HONGLY-HK is a partner of YOUWEE and has 39.6% anti-dumping duty for the EU anti-dumping policy on fasteners.

Actually, HONGLY-HK just uses the same name as HONGLY-SZ in purpose of deceiving customers.

HONGLY-SZ has discovered the fraudulent means of the above fraudsters and has urgently contacted the EU anti-dumping agency and submitted a whitelist of their true customers. Customers who are not in the whitelist will pay anti-dumping duties in full and cannot enjoy the 39.6% anti-dumping duty of EU fasteners.
